trying to find my niche
I keep trying to figure out a goal for this blog, writing posts, trying to figure out something to do here and I think I've got it finally.
What I will use this for
Design diaries - I will update this with thoughts about stuff I'm working on and how I'm figuring my way through things.
Set quick overviews just to get an idea of how I feel for the new cards getting released that appeal to me as a player.
Updates on my cubes where I feel like having a more thought out explainer is worth the time.
what I'm NOT using this for
Anything grandstandy or broad and sweeping. I am done trying to convince anyone else to like my opinions or that they're even right. I like playing this game and I have my opinions, I am not trying to become a preacher. I also legitimately don't think I have the writing skills to properly get my ideas out there in a way I'm happy with.
what's next?
I have to get some really solid descriptions of the cubes I work on and what the goals I have for each of them are.
I want to keep reviews for each set that interests me going as I'm continuing to update these cubes.
Maybe really far down the line I'll share more overarching thoughts about games and how I feel about making good experiences, but honestly I can just link The Cube is bigger than you and let Usman put it better than I ever could.
