Distance and Taking Breaks
I think that one of the things that I've been realizing about Magic is that I kinda hate how much time it can capitalize on very quickly. Part of this is obviously me being into cube, there's no quick or easy option for making a cube that isn't gonna take up some serious time. That said I do think that right now a majority of the spaces I exist in for this hobby bum me the fuck out.
I'm sure some level of this is the fact that we're getting into late summer and things are slowing, weather is hot and miserable, all the usual things. Even with that accounted for I've noticed a significant uptick in people just being loudly miserable about the hobby for one reason or another and it's just time to step back from those particular methods of interacting with the game for a bit.
